چکیده
Lilium leichtlinii var. maximowiczii is commonly known as the edible lily or sweet lily. Bulbs of this are frequently used in traditional Chinese medicine, and they revered for their nutritional content. As 2018, brown rot disease on cultivated L. bulbs has become a concern Jilin Province, China, with incidence 29.43%. The infected appear large, regularly shaped, yellow-brown black-brown lesions. However, causal agent not yet known. Therefore, study aims to confi rm both pathogen by using Koch’s postulates further establish, species level, identity organism via morphological molecular methods. was later identifi ed Trichoderma hamatum. Healthy were inoculated T. hamatum, which produced initial symptoms spots appearing at inoculation sites; same then isolated again from diseased bulbs. To best our knowledge, fi rst report bulb caused hamatum China. Our work may be benefi cial, especially designing control measures commercial cultivation maximowiczii.

Rhizopus oryzae is reported for the first time on Cucumis melo L. var. makuwa Makino. A detailed description of this Korean specimen is given, along with its rDNA internal transcribed spacer sequence. On the basis of mycological characteristics and molecular data, the fungus was identified as R. oryzae Went & Prinsen Geerligs.

Phellinus noxius causes root and lower stem rot of woody plants throughout the South Pacific region. Its hosts include rubber, mahogany, cacao, and many timber, fruit and landscape trees. Though endemic to the tropics, we found no reports describing brown root rot disease in native forests, exclusively. Incidence, distribution and host range of P. noxius were measured in primary and secondary r...

In 2010, disease symptoms, including necrotic lesions on stems and leaves with circular yellow-brown or irregular brown color patches, were observed on cool-season turfgrass at golf courses (OHCC) and the Daegu University research farm in Gyeongbuk, Korea. We isolated the causal agent and identified it as Waitea circinata var. zeae by morphological characterization and molecular analysis. To th...
متن کاملNew Insight into Lilium brownii var. colchesteri
Lilium brownii var. colchesteri has been widely cultivated for long time by its perfect flower shape with its colour arrangement and fragrance. However, it did not receive enough attention in recent lily research programs, and information on the history and culture is lacking. An overall research project on this species including breeding, flowering control, propagation, virus-free bulb product...
متن کاملPhytic Acid Metabolism in Lily (Lilium longiflorum Thunb.) Pollen.
The accumulation of phytic acid during development of lily (Lilium longiflorum Thunb.) pollen and its degradation during germination have been studied. A substantial amount of phytic acid accumulates in lily pollen by 5 days before anthesis, and little change occurs during subsequent maturation. Mature lily pollen contains 7 to 8 micrograms phytic acid per milligram pollen. Considerable degrada...
